Roots

Roots represent COSUCRA's foundation and connection to the local agricultural environment.

• 1852: Sugar plant established in Warcoing, Belgium
• 1982: Began chicory-based ingredient production
• 1986: Started chicory root fiber (inulin) production
• 1990: Initiated pea protein production
• 2006: Merged into COSUCRA Groupe Warcoing
• 2015: Innovated management with the liberating business model
• From 2017: Invested in state-of-the-art technology for pea and chicory plants
