SILFOAM® SD 169 is an anhydrous, self-dispersing silicone antifoam concentrate (INCI: Dimethicone (and) Polydimethylsiloxane) designed for use in liquid detergents, cleaners, and polymer dispersions. Its chemical structure allows it to effectively regulate foam in surfactant-based systems, with notably improved alkali resistance and sustained antifoam activity over time. SILFOAM^® SE 36 is an antifoam emulsion that is largely compatible with surfactants. Unlike conventional antifoam emulsions, solutions of SILFOAM® SE 36 are stable for relatively long periods. SILFOAM® SE 36 is particularly efficient at keeping cloudiness in surfactant-containing solutions to a minimum. We recommend that preliminary trials be carried out as these systems are highly diverse.

SILFOAM® SC 124 is an anhydrous, comparatively low-viscosity antifoam compound for laundry detergents. Because of its low viscosity, SILFOAM® SC 124 is easier to handle than high-viscosity grades.
