A-C® 400A is a Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer in powder form, with a VA content of 13%, used extensively in hot melt adhesives (HMAs) to control rheology and boost adhesion.
A-C® 400A displays a good benefits in providing the dual function of reducing application viscosity at melt, while providing an adhesion boost versus homopolymer, non functional diluents.
A-C® 400A is suitable to use in color masterbatch as dispersing agent, process aid for EVA-based wire and cable compounds.
A-C® 6A is a homopolymer in a powdered form; for use in solvent borne coatings, heatset and liquid solvent borne inks, to improve surface properties such as rub, mar & abrasion resistance, by lowering the COF.
It is also used as a gellant for hydrocarbon oils, a paraffin crystal nucleator in wax blends such as candles, and a viscosity diluent in HMAs.
A-C® 6A can be also partially substituted for FT (Fisher Tropsch) Wax in adhesive applications without detracting from formulation properties. Used in cable flooding compounds, along with polybutene. Is used as a dispersing agent in color masterbatch applications.
A-C® 629A is a Low density Oxidized Polyethylene (LDOxPE) homopolymer in prill form for use in solvent borne coatings as a rheological aid. It also finds use as a metal release agent in PVC. It is a pigment dispersing agent for color masterbatch.
A-C® 629A can also be atmospherically emulsified for use in aqueous applications, such as textiles, lubricants, coatings and inks, to lower the COF and provide surface properties such as mar & abrasion resistance and increased slip.
