Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. Fancol® Polyiso® 800-CG by Elementis is a waterproofing agent. It is a non-animal origin skin- & hair care additive for cosmetics and toiletries. This long-chain aliphatic hydrocarbon is stable in a very wide pH range (pH 4-9). It enhances shine and provides lubricity. It is used as a substitute for mineral oil. Fancol® Polyiso® 800-CG is used in decorative cosmetics, lipsticks, hair relaxers, hair styling aids, creams, lotions, sunscreen preparations, shave preparations, antiperspirants and setting gels & sprays. It holds ISO 9001 certification. The shelf life of this ingredient is 3 years.

GILUGEL ISO is a rheological gel which provides both stability and viscosity to the oil phase of OTC preparations. GILUGEL ISO is composed of 20% Aluminum/Magnesium-Hydroxide-Stearate in an isohexadecane carrier. The resultant gel behaves as a rheological modifier in the oil phase of formulations. Produced under cGMP conditions, GILUGEL ISO is an ideal excipient for viscosity control in OTC topical products while imparting a light, elegant feel. In emulsion formulations, GILUGEL ISO provides improved stability while improving application aesthetics.

LAN-AQUA-SOL 75:50 is the polyethylene glycol derivative of lanolin. It gives water solubility and can act as a non-ionic surfactant.
