DOWSIL™ 40-001 ADDITIVE is an organo-functional siloxane. It is an anti-drip additive or synergist, flame retardant.

XIAMETER™ OFS-0772 Siliconate is a non-flammable, water soluble sodium methyl siliconate solution designed to impart water repellency to a wide variety of surfaces. Key Application: Bricks; to increase water repellency and reduce water absorption, Manufactured and natural stones, such as limestone, sandstone and ceramics; to reduce efflorescence and improve resistance to effects of weathering, Roofing granules and other products used in contact with asphalt; to provide stain resistance and to improve adhesion of granules to asphalt, High absorptive mineral aggregates such as Perlite™; to reduce water absorption, Decorative tile; to seal against moisture.

DOWSIL™ AY 42-119 Silicone Resin is an epoxy functional silicone resin in powder form which can be used as an additive for thermoset/ thermoplastic composites. It can reduce shrinkage/ distortion caused by heat cycle, and it can impart flame retardancy to such composites. The white powder resin can be soluble in various solvent such as toluene, 2-butanone, DMSO, but it turns to insoluble after cured with hardener such as dicyandiamide.
