MEGGLETOSE B 600

MEGGLETOSE B 600 is a food grade quality milk sugar, the natural occurring disaccharide of milk. The product is present in the form of lactose monohydrate and is characterised as white powder with its typical odour and a slightly sweetish taste. MEGGLETOSE B 600 is gained from whey and refining takes place at approx. 97 °C (206 °F) for at least 30 minutes. The product is finely ground.

MALTODEXTRIN (DE8-10)

MALTODEXTIN (DE8-10) is derived naturally as, flavorless complex carbohydrate. MALTODEXTIN (DE18-20)) has been commonly used as a food additive, as the function thickening agent and sweetener. MALTODEXTIN (DE8-10) offers a virtually tasteless and colorless characteristic making it an easy and inexpensive way to “bulk up” foods like oatmeal, salad dressings, and commercial sauces without affecting food flavors and colors. MALTODEXTIN (DE8-10) can be dispersed easily in cold water while maintaining clarity and appearance. It also increases viscosity and prevents caking and crystallization in frozen foods such as ice cream.
