DAOTAN VTW 1686/40WA is used as sole binder or in combination with melamine resins and/or polyurethane dispersions for the production of waterdilutable industrial paints, e. g. base coats.

Crosslinker for alkyd resins in two-component systems.The extreme abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance make Beckocoat PU 428 films cured with the action of air humidity an excellent sealer and impregnation medium for concrete, a binder for non-slip coatings, for concrete coatings resistant to fuel oil and abrasion, for instance in garages, or for floorings and coatings for walls and ceilings in laboratories, chemical factories, etc. The films cure to radiant brilliance and can also be recommended for wooden floors subject to heavy wear like in bowling alleys, roller skating rinks, dancing halls, gymnasiums and schools. Beckocoat PU 428 has also proved an ideal vehicle for coating sports articles like spears, bowling pins, golf balls, bats, hockey sticks, tennis rackets, etc. In exterior use, Beckocoat PU 428 will lose gloss and will yellow. Weather resistance and gloss retention can be enhanced through coemploying alkyd resins like VIALKYD AR 408.

BECKOCOAT VPU 4204/40LG contains flatting agent. Rapid curing. Good abrasion resistance. Excellent resistance to chemicals. For floor sealers, wood paints and concrete impregnation sealers. Owing to its high abrasion resistance, Beckocoat VPU 4204 is an ideal binder for wooden floor sealings and concrete impregnation, e. g. in bowling alleys, dancing halls, gymnasium and schools. Beckocoat VPU 4204 is used as sole binder. The degree of flatness or brilliance can be varied to desire by combining it with Beckocoat PU 428. For special outlets it is possible to mix Beckocoat VPU 4204 with suitable colouring pastes shortly before application (concrete paints).

SETAQUA X 11712 is a room temperature drying (by air-oxidation), fatty acid modified waterborne urethane dispersion. SETAQUA X 11712 is NMP-free. It is non-yellowing and has good weather stability. When formulating with SETAQUA X 11712, a suitable metal drier combination must be used (for e.g Nuodex Combi LS, 0.10% on solid binder). It is used as versatile binder that can be used in waterborne air- and force-drying topcoats and primers. Can be used on wood and metal substrates. Also suitable for mono-coats and direct to-metal coatings.
