DOWSIL 1349 Emulsion is an additives release agent for rubber producers, with a solid content of 60%. It is a ready-to-use non-ionic emulsion that provides gloss, water repellency, good wetting and slip characteristics. This emulsion serves as a general-purpose release agent, including web release, and imparts softening and lubrication to textiles. It does not contain alkylphenolethoxylates (APEO) and exhibits good emulsion stability up to 50°C and dilution stability up to 2% in water, offering a high solid content for a low cost-in-use. Applications include its use in polishes for cars and furniture to provide gloss with minimal smear, mold release for rubber or plastic parts, lubrication of extruded rubber parts and conveyor belts, textile lubrication, and surface treatment of Titanium dioxide.

POLYSTEP B-29 is used in latex manufacture; it aids in the control of latex particle size. POLYSTEP B-29 can be used to create large particle size latexes when used in combination with other surfactants. If used as a sole surfactant, POLYSTEP B-29 may yield latexes with a lower degree of mechanical stability.
