GANTREZ™ S-97 BF POLYMER is a methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymers produced by hydrolysis of (polymethylvinylether/maleic anhydride) copolymer. The free acid forms are water-soluble, giving clear and tacky films. Solution rheology can be modified by the addition of salts and bases. Gantrez polymers act as highly effective chelating agents for iron, magnesium, zinc and calcium ions; are excellent film formers and enhance hydrophilicity of surfaces. In hard surface cleaners, Gantrez S-97 polymer provides anti-fog properties and promotes long-lasting streak-free surfaces.

GANTREZ™ S-95 35% SOLUTION POLYMER is a methyl vinyl ether/maleic acid copolymer produced by hydrolysis of (polymethylvinylether/maleic anhydride) copolymer. The free acid forms are water-soluble, giving clear and tacky films. The polymers acts as highly effective chelating agents for iron, magnesium, zinc and calcium ions, and controls mineral scale. In automatic diswashing products, Gantrez S-95 polymer replaces phosphates resulting in spot -free surfaces. In laundry and fabric care products, the polymer acts as s a calcium encrustation inhibitor to improve color protection and reduce graying of fabrics.

PVP K-12 SOLUTION is a hygroscopic, amorphous polymer supplied as a clear aqueous solution. It can be plasticized with water and most common organic plasticizers. It is considered to be physiologically inert. This product is cross-linkable to a water insoluble, swellable material either in the course of vinylpyrrolidone polymerization, by addition of an appropriate multifunctional comonomer or by post-reaction, typically through hydrogen abstraction chemistry.

​Klucel™ hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) is a nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether with a remarkable combination of properties. It combines organic solvent solubility, thermoplasticity and surface activity with the aqueous thickening and stabilizing properties characteristic of other water-soluble cellulose polymers available from Ashland. Klucel HPC films are flexible without plasticizers and non-tacky at high humidity. The wood pulp used in our cellulose products is sourced from suppliers who have implemented zero deforestation business practices, adhering to standards set forth by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), by the Program for the Endorsement Certification (PEFC.), or both. Our cotton linters are sourced from suppliers who have received third party certifications including the Global Recycled Standard (GRS 4.0) and SCS Recycled Content Standard, certifying that their cotton linters are 100% recycled content.
