SYLYSIA® 390 is a synthetically produced, amorphous, and micronized silica gel known for its high porosity and chemical purity. Produced by Fuji Silysia Chemical in Greenville, NC, it is designed to be a highly efficient matting agent that reduces gloss in coatings while producing uniform films. It offers superior anti-blocking performance during plastic film and sheeting manufacturing, as well as in high-speed printing. SYLYSIA enhances adhesion and thickening in adhesive applications, stabilizing viscosity for longer shelf life. It also improves inkjet performance and serves as an anti-blocking agent in various types of paper.

SYLYSIA is a highly efficient matting agent producing uniform films while reducing gloss. The 400 series, characterized by high density, high porosity and low bulk density, has been widely employed as a matting agent for all types of resin paints and water-base paints. The matting characteristics are controlled directly by the amount of SYLYSIA introduced where settling is of least importance.

Luna-mer 2158 is an effective matting agent for exterior-durable, TGIC powder coatings. It provides low gloss levels, whilst improving flow and performance characteristics. The stability of the gloss level is maintained across varying baking temperatures and conditions.Luna-mer 2158 is used with carboxyl functional polyester resins cured with TGIC.

Rilsan D50 NAT is a polyamide 11 powder obtained from renewable resources with an average diameter of 40 - 46 μm. Rilsan D is a range of high performance fine polyamide powders used as multifunctional additives in coatings and varnishes. The introduction of Rilsan polyamide powders in formulations is easy thanks to their good dispersion capacity, their reduced Impact on rheology and their low density. Rilsan polyamide powders are surface modifiers, specifically designed for texture creation. Abrasion, scratch, impact resistances and flexibility of coatings, inks and varnishes can be significantly improved using Rilsan polyamide powders.
