HALOX® XTAIN® A

HALOX® XTAIN® A is a white, nonrefractive, tannin stain inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® XTAIN® A is a highly efficient tannin stain inhibitor providing a high level of performance and compatibility in a variety of resin systems such as styrene-butadiene latexes, acrylic latexes, vinyl acrylic latexes, and solventborne alkyds. Recommended loading levels range from 1-3% based on total formula weight.

Luna-vin VROH-W is a directly polymerised hydroxyl-functional terpolymer, perfect for a wide range of applications. It is made from a blend of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, giving it excellent adhesive properties that make it ideal for use in adhesives, printing inks and metal coatings. Butvar® B-79 is a thermoplastic, polyvinyl butyral resin which offers a unique combination of properties for coating or adhesive applications. The use or addition of polyvinyl butyral to a system imparts adhesion, toughness, and flexibility. PVB retains the clarity of the coating and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. The broad solubility range of Butvar® B-79 allows it to be formulated into many applications.
