Luna-vin VROH-W is a directly polymerised hydroxyl-functional terpolymer, perfect for a wide range of applications. It is made from a blend of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, giving it excellent adhesive properties that make it ideal for use in adhesives, printing inks and metal coatings. One of the key benefits of Luna-vin VROH-W is that it can be used in both clear and pigmented coatings, onto a wide variety of substrates – including metal, wood, plastic, foil or fabric.

Butvar® B-79 is a thermoplastic, polyvinyl butyral resin which offers a unique combination of properties for coating or adhesive applications. The use or addition of polyvinyl butyral to a system imparts adhesion, toughness, and flexibility. PVB retains the clarity of the coating and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. The broad solubility range of Butvar® B-79 allows it to be formulated into many applications.

SYLYSIA® 390 is a synthetically produced, amorphous, and micronized silica gel known for its high porosity and chemical purity. Produced by Fuji Silysia Chemical in Greenville, NC, it is designed to be a highly efficient matting agent that reduces gloss in coatings while producing uniform films. It offers superior anti-blocking performance during plastic film and sheeting manufacturing, as well as in high-speed printing. SYLYSIA enhances adhesion and thickening in adhesive applications, stabilizing viscosity for longer shelf life. It also improves inkjet performance and serves as an anti-blocking agent in various types of paper.

Q-Cel® Lightweight series products have a density approximately one-fifth of most thermoset resins. On an equal weight basis, the Q-Cel® hollow spheres occupy about five times more volume than an equivalent weight of resin, which can reduce compound weight and cost. They can replace heavy fillers, such as calcium carbonate, talc and clays, thus lowering the weight of composite materials. Spheres have the lowest surface area of any filler type, thus the lowest resin demand. Lower viscosities are common, allowing less resin to be used, usually resulting in cost savings in many applications. Q-Cel® 6014® is recommended for castings applications with polyesters, urethanes, PVC plastisol, and other systems where low viscosity and low shear processing conditions are used.
