COSPHADERM ZINC LACTATE natural is the zinc salt of lactic acid and is used in oral care products and deodorants to fight malodours. COSPHADERM SB-75H is a fractionated and hydrogenated, de-oiled soybean lecithin in powdered shape (PC content min 70 %). The hydrogenation of double bonds in the fatty acids results in a higher stability towards destructive oxidation and much better emulsifying and dispersion properties in aqueous media compared to common fractionated lecithin.

Cosphaderm® Hexiol is a pure, transparent and colorless glycol. Two vicinal OH-groups and a short carbon chain allow unlimited water-solubility. This property is strongly relevant to its most common cosmetic use as a moisturizer and humectant for both skin care and hair care formulations. Static light scattering experiments have shown that Cosphaderm® Hexiol can also be used to stabilize o/w emulsions by droplet size reduction. Another core property of 1,2-hexanediol is its pH-independent antimicrobial activity. It further shows remarkable synergistic effects in combination with other antimicrobial substances, making it possible to minimize the total amount of combined preserving agents.

Cosphaderm® Sodium LAAS is a white powder comprising the solid mixture of Sodium Levulinate and Sodium Anisate. This blend displays skin conditioning and masking properties, as well as a broad antimicrobial effectiveness. This way, Cosphaderm® Sodium LAAS can help to ensure a formulations microbiological stability without the use of traditional preservatives.
