ACURE 500 systems harness the high reactivity of Michael Addition enabling paint formulators to design two-component coatings with extremely fast drying and with uncharacteristically long pot lives. ACURE 500 consists of a strong base which is blocked with di-ethyl carbonate. ACURE 500 unblocks with the release of alcohol and CO2 and is the key enabler to the provision of fast dry times with long pot lives in ACURE coatings.
