Lunacure DDS provides excellent high temperature properties and chemical resistance. Amongst the amine curing agents it provides the best retention of strength after prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures. It is mixed with epoxy resins in the 20-30 phr range with cure temperatures ranging from 115-150°C. Because of its low reactivity, LUNACURE DDS is usually employed with an accelerator, such as Dihydrazide and BF3-amines complexes. These compositions are also stable at room temperature but cure when heated.

Luna-cure CDEA’s low viscosity and high MW make it useful for use in various thermoplastic applications. It can be used as an intermediate used to produce polyurethane additives, or as a sealant for polyolefin films.

Luna-cure CDEA can also be used in the manufacture of pesticide active ingredients.
