Cosphaderm® Sodium LAAS is a white powder comprising the solid mixture of Sodium Levulinate and Sodium Anisate. This blend displays skin conditioning and masking properties, as well as a broad antimicrobial effectiveness. Cosphaderm® E NGM is a fluid lysolecithin derived from soybeans. Lysolecithin is an enzymatically modified derivative of lecithin from which one fatty acid has been removed. This results in increased emulsifying and dispersion properties in aqueous media leading to greater water-binding capacity. Due to an enhanced hydrophilic character, lysolecithins are ideal co-emulsifiers for o/w emulsions with high water content. Beyond the co-emulsifier function, lysolecithin contributes to better hair combability in conditioners and a light and silky skin sensation in leave-on formulations.
