Kathon™ LX 1.5% is a liquid preservative containing the isothiazolone active ingredient CMIT/MIT. The product inhibits and controls bacterial and fungal growth in industrial aqueous compositions such as latex paints, industrial coatings, polymer latices, specialty pigments, and building materials. It does not offer dry film protection against fungi or algae.
