DPHA (Acrylated dipentaerythritol) is a multifunctional reactive diluent that polymerizes when exposed to sources of free radicals. DPHA is particularly useful in ultraviolet light (UV) and electron beam (EB) curable coatings and inks where improved cure response, hardness and scratch/abrasion resistance are desired.

CYCAT® 4045 is an amine-blocked para-toluene sulfonic acid catalyst supplied in ethylene glycol, designed to accelerate the cure response of amino crosslinking resins. It enhances formulation stability, prevents film wrinkling, and ensures excellent performance in automotive, industrial, coil, and can coatings​.

CYCAT 4040 catalyst is a very versatile catalyst material especially formulated for consistency of strength for use in various solvent soluble and water-based thermosetting vehicles. It is especially recommended where a strong acid catalyst is desired to accelerate the cure of highly alkylated melamine-formaldehyde crosslinked systems and to reduce the curing temperature of urea resin systems.

ACURE™ systems harness the high reactivity of Michael Addition enabling paint formulators to design two-component coatings with extremely fast drying and with uncharacteristically long pot lives. ACURE™ 540 consists of a strong base which is blocked with di-ethyl carbonate. ACURE™ 540 unblocks with the release of alcohol and CO2 and is the key enabler to the provision of fast dry times with long pot lives in ACURE™ coatings. The rate at which ACURE™ 540 unblocks may be controlled by the addition of an alcohol (typically ethanol, n-propanol, or n-butanol) to the ACURE™ coating.
