Exolit OP 1420 is a white powder non-halogenated flame retardant based on organic phosphinates, designed for polyamides like PA 6 and PA 66. Exolit OP 1266 is a white powder non-halogenated flame retardant based on organic phosphinates and synergists, designed for thermoplastic polyester resins like PBT and PET. It forms a stable char barrier that insulates heat and prevents dripping, offering excellent flame retardancy with UL 94 V-0 rating down to 0.4 mm thickness. Suitable for glass fiber reinforced and unfilled polyesters, it provides high electrical tracking resistance and good colorability, enhancing physical and electrical properties of flame-retarded compounds.
