FIBROFOS™ 60 is dried chicory root reduced to a powder product (99,5%). An anti-caking is added (0,5%) to improve the flow ability of the product. It is a raw material for animal feed. Fibrofos™ 60 is specifically high in inulin (65 % on product and 72% on DM). The inulin is a soluble fibre with prebiotic effects bound to the pulp fraction of the chicory root. This pulp fraction (+/- 35%) is composed of pectin, hemicellulose, and cellulose. Fibrofos™ 60 is also a quite interesting source of sesquiterpene lactone.

Prebiofeed 95, raw material for animal feed, is a mixture of poly- and oligosaccharides extracted by diffusion from chicory roots in Cosucra Groupe Warcoing S.A. This fibre is composed of molecules with a length of about 7 units fructose and ending on a glucose unit.
